Here is a few pictures of my CBR Tig.
As a pup, his first time in the water and his first hunting trip. He is two now and I couldn't be happier with him.

  • Michael, David replied to the topic 'Blind on public land' in the forum.
Permanent blinds on public land in Arkansas have only been allowed on a few WMAs for a long time. They were on a first come first served basis regardless of whom built or maintained them. That said... good luck getting in one that you didn't build. This past year, I believe, permanent blinds were removed and are no longer allowed on public lands. All blinds built must be removed at the end of the hunt daily. Personally I like this rule. It allows more people access to good hunting spots. I wouldn't feel right about beating someone to the blind they've been hunting for 20 years and keeping them out. On the same token, that keeps me from hunting a lot of spots I'd like too. The downside is that the new rule will cause a little more boat racing on WMAs that previously had very little. EVERY rule affects people differently. The officials just try to make more pros than cons.

so, the fellas i hunt with built a blind on public land. hunted it for probably 6-8 weeks. do we have the right to somewhat tell them to remove themselves from what we built. by the way, the conversations we had with them previously to the encounter included them knowing that we built it.

  • David replied to the topic 'The 2013 Waterfowl Season ..any predictions ?????' in the forum.
US corn planing at slowest pace since 1984......after a more traditional winter and a late spring....only 5% of the US corn crop was planted by April 28th (source USDA)......which translates into 31.1 million acres still waiting for the planter

Eastern Ontario ...planting has been delayed seven days over normal (source OMAF) for corn

Our population of resident birds nesting within the watershed is very high......after watching the divers pass through perhaps a litlle later this year than the spring of 2012.......local birds are very strongly represented......and the goose numbers are approaching extremely high numbers.....with a wetland ecosystem that is in excellent condition.....

Environment Canada.....predicting warm months ahead for June - July - August in Ontario which splits the Atlantic and Mississippi Flyways.....the good news is a normal rainfall pattern is also predicted for the summer months

They look pretty good. Hard to tell anymore since paracord is easy to get and so many people are tying them. I know they are not easy to tie, but they sell rather cheap anyway IMO

Just got the SX3 back in february 2013 and i absolutely love it. since it's not duck season, ive been shooting it in some skeet competitions and the best word to describe the gun is "FLAWLESS". A very smooth shooting, and cycling gun. very low recoil whyich is surprising for how light the gun is. I can shoot anything from 1oz. to 1 1/4oz. shot without any problems, and as fast as i can pull the trigger. The only thing i would suggest, as with any new shotgun, would be to cycle a case of high brass shells through it to break it in good. Other than that, happy shooting, and keep your powder dry
